Our approach to polling is grounded in modern, data-driven methodologies designed to measure public opinion accurately and in a variety of localities. A2 Insights primarily utilizes online, opt-in polling methods, reaching geotargeted respondents as they normally browse the internet. This approach enables us to access a broader, more representative, and diverse sample with efficiency. Questions and answer choices are deliberately presented in a manner as to avoid risks posed by primacy bias and stereotype threat. Post-survey analysis is done to identify and remove likely spurious responses; reasons for which particular responses were removed are always included in our reports. Dependent upon the type of poll, a set of politically salient and verifiable benchmarks such as age and education, in addition to statistical modeling, are used to account for systemic non-response. We do not conduct "push polls" or engage in herding—the data we see are the data we present.
